BIRDEATER
Birdeater : what is it..? The term birdeater is a slang.. and many spiders are called “birdeaters”.. actually the term birdeater first came about because pink toe tarantulas eat baby birds in the nest.. the term evolved to basically bring an oooh aaah factor to any tarantula.. the poecilotheria genus are also called birderters.. no one calls them that much any more, but those are the main ones that actually eat birds.. otherwise the term birdeater just means big scarry spider.. because that is what sells them.
